BAGAN DATOH: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will launch his campaign for the Permatang Pauh parliamentary seat tomorrow.
The PKR de facto leader said PAS and DAP leaders, and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail who vacated the seat on Thursday, would join him.
“We are not playing games, we are going to fight,” he said at a ceramah at Selekoh, near here, late yesterday.
He reiterated that the first thing he would do as Prime Minister would be to ease the burden of the rakyat by bringing down fuel prices immediately, adding that lower global oil prices now meant the reduction would be more than 50sen per litre.
Anwar also said that more than 400 foreign investors had pledged to invest in Malaysia if he took power. [more]
