BUTTERWORTH: PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reminded his supporters to be well prepared to face Barisan Nasional in the Permatang Pauh by-election as the coalition would go all out to win this time.
“Things are getting bad for me now as I have been accused and slandered by those who are preventing me from winning in the by-election. It is an uphill battle for me.
“But God willing, we will emerge the winner as you will be there to give me support,” he said in a brief address to some 200 people who attended a special prayer (solat hajat) at Yayasan Nadhoh in Kampung Patani, Kubang Semang, yesterday.
The prayer was held in an open area in conjunction with the by-election where Anwar is the likely candidate for PKR. [more]
