BUTTERWORTH: Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin said the very first thing Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would do if he was able to form the government on Sept 16 would be to finalise deals with his foreign financiers on what benefits they would enjoy.
He said Anwar would also immediately sign a Free Trade Agreement with the United States.
“He would also agree with US intentions to set up a naval base in Sabah. I obtained all this information from very reliable sources,” said Khairy at a ceramah at the Barisan Nasional Youth operation centre near here.
“We would like to know how Anwar is obtaining huge funds for his by-election campaign. Just look at the posters. I’m sure it would have cost him millions. We do not want him to sell off the country.
“If PKR is in power for the next five years, I’m sure they can sell the country. Anwar is a hypocrite of the highest order.” [more]
