About

Anwar Ibrahim is the former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and is currently the de facto leader of Keadilan, the People’s Justice Party. After a distinguished career in public service he was unjustly removed from office and endured six years in solitary confinement on trumped-up charges of corruption and sodomy. In 2004, after he had served time for the corruption charges, those charges of sodomy were dismissed and he resumed his campaign to build a prosperous, democratic and just Malaysia. In 2008, he was re-arrested again on new charges of sodomy.  After attempts by police officials to coax him to provide new DNA samples, he was kept overnight in jail though he was never shown the report filed against him.  He was released the next day, but the charges are still pending.

  1. Is Anwar Ibrahim free on the new charges of sodomy?

  2. I’m not to sure, but the public begins to give more consensus view that it could have been true to the new charges. what do you say about it yourself?
