PRAI: The DAP will not limit itself to wooing only the Chinese electorate for the Permatang Pauh by-election which will be held on Aug 26.
Penang Chief Minister and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said the Penang state government has to look after everyone in the state regardless of race.
“Be it in the DAP or Pakatan Rakyat (PR), we are Malaysian in outlook and approach, delivery and presentation, and we do not want to narrow ourselves to only one segment of the community.
“We are adopting a collective and cooperative approach to convince the voters why it is crucial for them to vote for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in this by-election.
“They have a clear choice of choosing a future prime minister or an ordinary Barisan Nasional candidate who has no hope whatsover of becoming the future prime minister,” Lim said after officiating at the opening ceremony of Toray Plastics (M) Sdn Bhd’s RM350 million MT6 expansion project in Prai.
